Dr. Joseph Canova, DC
Dr. Canova is the Clinic Director of Hoboken Integrated Healthcare and has been in private practice since 1989. He earned his bachelors degree at Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, New Jersey and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, The New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners and the New York and California Boards of Chiropractic Examiners.
As director of Hoboken Integrated Healthcare he specializes in sports injuries, treatment of auto injuries, stress management, scoliosis, sciatica, neck and lower back disc injuries and headaches. Postgraduate studies include certifications in Manipulation Under Anesthesia, Non-invasive electrodiagnostic testing, and Body Balance for Performance evaluation of golf biomechanics.
Dr. Canova is on staff at Meadowlands Hospital in Secaucus and The Center For Special Surgery in Paramus.
Dr. Canova is a noted lecturer in the areas of stress, auto injuries and various other health related topics. He is a regular lecturer at Bloomfield College and has lectured for the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services, New Jersey School of Medicine, and various schools, businesses and civic organizations in the community.
Dr. Canova is on the Board of Chiropractic Advisors at Bloomfield College and a trustee of the Elisha Kent Kane Historical Society. He is a member of The New Jersey Chiropractic Society, The International Chiropractors Association, The American Chiropractic Association and The Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research.
