Clinic Director Dr. Joseph Canova, D.C.
Dr. Canova is the Clinic Director of Hoboken Integrated Healthcare and has been in private practice since 1989. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, New Jersey and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, The New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners and the New York and California Boards of Chiropractic Examiners.
As director of Hoboken Integrated Healthcare his area of expertise includes sports injuries, treatment of auto injuries, stress management, scoliosis, sciatica, neck and lower back disc injuries, spinal decompression, and headaches. Postgraduate studies include certifications in Manipulation Under Anesthesia, Non-invasive Electrodiagnostic Testing, and Body Balance for Performance Evaluation of Golf Biomechanics.
Dr. Canova is a noted lecturer in the areas of stress, auto injuries and various other health related topics. He has lectured at Bloomfield College, the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services, New Jersey School of Medicine, and various schools, businesses and civic organizations in the community.
Dr. Canova is a former Board Member of Chiropractic Advisors at Bloomfield College and former trustee of the Elisha Kent Kane Historical Society. He is a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.
Justyna Zarzecka - Physical Therapist
Justyna Zarzecka graduated from Rutgers university in 2014 with a doctorate of physical therapy. She has been taking Maitland Australian physiotherapy seminars, studying the Maitland approach to orthopedic physical therapy.
Justyna's clinical experience has been focused in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation in patients with non-operative and post-operative pathology of the shoulder, wrist, knee, ankle, hip, and back.
Virginia Kelly, L. Ac.
M. Virginia Kelly L. Ac. is a New York and New Jersey Licensed Acupuncturist. Virginia graduated with a Masters degree in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture (TSCA). She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in Clean Needle Technique and by the Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center in the use of the NADA protocol (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association), Acupuncture for Substance Abuse.
As a premiere acupuncture specialist, Virginia is also a Certified Reflexologist, Reiki Master and Feng Shui Consultant who holds certifications in over a dozen forms of healing modalities as Shiatsu, Bodywork, Iridology, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis and Regression Therapy, Cranio-Sacral therapy, Polarity, Aromatherapy, Tunning Forks, Color-puncture, Iridology, Nutrition, Facial Acupuncture, Bach Flowers and Tui Na; she is also a DONA trained Doula and is currently training to be a Psychologist.
Ms. Kelly has worked in the pedriatrics oncology department of the Presbyterian Hospital, in the Research on alternative and complementary medicine runned by the Columbia university, NY. Since then she had worked in many facilitys: clinics and spas, both in NY and NJ. Nowadays, she is the owner of Kelly’s Points, in West New York, and she practices in Hoboken Integrated Healthcare, among chiropractors and physical therapist in Hoboken, NJ.
Virginia is a former Artist and Tango Dancer who knows the body inside out. It was when she was teaching that she discovered the therapeutic effects of dance and found herself being of therapeutic significance to her clients.
In line with the beliefs and vision of Hoboken Integrated Healthcare, Virginia strongly supports the integration of eastern and western medicine, in what she calls the “Yin Yang of health.”
